Hearing Aid Audiometrist Society of Australia

The Hearing Aid Audiometrist Society of Australia (HAASA) was formed in the early 1960s as a professional body to promote and act as an advocate for its Members and the clients of its Members.

HAASA liaises with

  • Federal Government departments
  • Other professional bodies
  • Educational training organizations
  • Community groups
  • Hearing device manufacturers and suppliers

The advocacy role of HAASA helps to keep its members fully up to date regarding matters that directly affect them as clinicians but also have implications for the hearing impaired clients that HAASA members care for daily.
